Description:
This old gal acquired from a private collector from what I can tell was manufactured 1966 when Savage imported Anschutz manufactured rifles to the United States and under the name "Savage Anschutz", which is on this particular rifle. Overall the rifle is in good condition, with the laminate wood stock having some dings on the left side of the fore arm and on the cheek weld on the and some minor impressions throughout. The steel is in great condition retaining 99% of its original bluing, but at some point the front and rear irons have been removed, but it does have a built-in dovetail for scope mounting. The bore is bright with crisp rifling, and the action is tight and smooth operating as it was designed. .22 WMR
