S O L D .........Simeon North.....U.S. Model 1819 Army Flintlock Pistol, Dated 1822....LAYAWAY?.... .54 caliber. 10" barrel length. SN: NSN. Bare finish to iron mountings. Walnut stock has a plain grip and forearm with single barrel band. Reconverted flintlock pistol with tang notch and brass blade sights. Item features a fixed swivel button head ramrod and safety lock behind hammer. Markings include 1822 to tail of lock, and Simeon North S.NORTH/U{American eagle}S/MIDLTN CONN marks to center of lockplate. Barrel features John D. Johnson JDJ/P/US inspector marks. Stock is marked with a weak circled cartouche, possibly LS by Luther Sage.

Condition:
Good. Bore is dark with pitting and oxidation. Finish is bare overall, with scattered pitting. Stock shows scratches and mars overall. Wood to metal fit is good overall. Safety is functional.
