Here we present an antique Brown Bess Flintlock Musket, made in England circa the late-18th Century. This pattern was used from the middle of the 18th Century through the mid-19th Century. These would have served during the Revolutionary War, Napoleonic Wars, and all over the world in the height of British Imperialism.
This one has Birmingham proofs on the top of the barrel. There is a marking on the left side of the barrel that is not quite legible.
The overall condition is very good. Brown patina throughout. Excellent action. The bore is smooth and patinated. The stock has been repaired at the end with a splice near the end. Smooth and solid otherwise.
