Description:
HENRY ALBRIGHT PENNSYLVANIA Smoothbore .54 Fowler HOMESTEAD PIONEER Antique

American Musket with SILVER ACCENTS

Here we present an antique Henry Albright Full Stock Musket, made circa the mid-1800s in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Henry Albright (1772-1845) was a gunmaker in Lancaster County. This smoothbore musket is quite long with a 47 ¼” barrel in .54 caliber. This would have been the kind of versatile firearm used by pioneers and frontiersmen for everything from putting meat over the fire to defense against wildlife and other predators. One could have used .54 caliber ball, shot, or a combination called buck and ball.

The overall condition is good. The action is functional, though the trigger must be reset manually. Smooth, patinated bore. Solid stock with a crack on the wrist has been repaired and remains stable. Golcher lock.

Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.

Barrel is 47-1/4 inches.

Caliber: .54 Percussion

Overall condition as seen in photos.
