A like new in box Marlin Model 1895CB in .45-70 especially made for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. This example is number 288 out of the total of 425 ever made. Rifle is engraved with gold as shown in the photos and fitted with a fancy curly maple stock and forend. Rifle is fitted at the factory with Skinner sights. A very handsome rifle in a very popular caliber, and now that Marlin is no more (taken over by Ruger) this rifle will do nothing but go up in value.
