Serial #176,414, all matching numbers throughout including the cylinder. All original and complete. There was only 5,000 "Thuer's" made in total production of all seven Colt Revolvers. This included the; "Colt Dragoon, 1849 Pocket, 1851 Navy 1860 Army, 1861 Navy, 1862 Police and the 1862 Pocket Navy". These rare Thure revolvers were only made from 1869-1872. They were Colt's first attempt to produce revolving firearms that were chambered for metalic cartridges. The revolver has fine plus metal, marking, and edges. It has a full and excellent cylinder scene on it. The "New York" barrel address is also very clear. The barrel has a mix of original factory blue and a natural light patina throughout it. The cylinder has the same patina on it and shows original factory blue in areas. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all retain most of their original factory case colors on them. The backstrap has nice even patina on it. The brass trigger guard is fine. All screws are fine. The original factory grips are excellent throughout. The revolver has a fine action and bore.
