A Scarce Factory Conversion Of A Remington-Rider D/A New Model Belt Revolver In Excellent Untouched Condition. Serial #5,331, all matching numbers. All original & complete, with a 6 1/2 inch barrel. Under 5,000 made of all three models from 1863-1873. It is in .38 caliber and has the special two piece cylinder in it. The revolver has excellent metal, edges, and markings. The barrel has a perfect address on it. The barrel, cylinder, & loading lever retain all of their original factory blue. The hammer has darkening case colors on it. The frame and backstrap both have a mix of factory blue fading into a natural plum patina. The brass trigger guard has a nice untouched appearance to it. All screws are fine. The original grips are excellent and full throughout. It has an excellent bright bore and action. This Is An Excellent And All Original Example Of A Factory Converted Remington-Rider Double Action New Model Belt Model Revolver!
