Description:
This is a USED 1989 Colt MK IV Lightweight Commander is a "Larry Wyatt Hard Ball Custom" 1911. It is chambered in .45 Auto and features a 4-inch barrel, dark blued finish with Ebony grips sporting Colt signature mustang medallions. Larry was known for customizing standard 1911's for competitions, tournaments, matches or for individual preferences. Some common modifications were night sights, or dovetailed front sights, beaver tails, extended slide stops or thumb safeties, aluminum 3 hole triggers, serrated slide tops or rears, FLGRs, stippled front straps, checkered steel MSHs, relieved ejection ports, etc. All of those things would be added to this gun after it left Colt. .45 Auto
