Description:
This appears to be either a Spanish or Portuguese Cast Iron Naval Cannon from the early 18th century. Measure about 43 inches from front to back. Bore is 2.5 inches and there appears to be an old projectile now stuck in the bore. Trunnions also measure exactly 2.5 inches. Nice cast aiming handle on the back end. This is easily over 200 pounds dry weight so not really capable of shipping. Local pick up only. Would guess it was used as a naval cannon due to the short overall length. Bring a truck and two friends because this is no light weight affair. Price is negotiable. Offers considered.
