***SOLD*** Beautiful early Pre War Model 12 with some tasteful custom touches in hard to find 16 ga. with a SOLID RIB barrel. S/N 98660 made way back in 1915!
Incredible shape for a 108 y.o. shotgun showing near 95% original Blue and slightly better on the wood. The buttstock is a very nicely colored and nicely figured replacement with expertly applied checkering pattern and pistol grip cap. The original corn cob forend has also been checkered with the same care. It wears an original 26" full choke matted rib barrel (the only available length for a 16 ga in 1915) that has not been cut off nor opened up and retains its excellent shiny bore. 2 3/4" chamber. The LOP (length of pull) is 13" to an original plate, perfect for a smaller statured or heavily clothed shooter or maybe a special someone in the family. This is a rare and really sharp looking shotgun that handles and points like a dream.
