Description:
This is a New reproduction Model 1777 French Carbine. It has a 30 1/2 inch. 69 Cal. Smoothbore steel barrel. This carbine was used with the sling swivel bar and rings by the Calvary and with a leather infantry sling on the two sling swivels by Artillerymen and French Carabiners. Our gun has a 1/16th inch touch hole and has been proof-fired with 75 grains of Pyrudex. The flint and leather flint keeper are included. The Frizzen is case-hardened to throw plenty of sparks and reduce misfires. We recommend a 65-grain charge of FF Powder with 7 grains of FFF powder. This carbine is an affordable gun to use in reenacting and Historical Impression, at $769.00. Shipping is $40.00 to the lower 48 with AL, CA, HI, OR WA. paying $60.00.
