Deepened and widened flutes on the bolt reduce weight, along with a skeletonized bolt handle and bolt sleeve. Weight reducing flutes are also employed on the 410 Series stainless steel 26" special contour barrel (.583 muzzle diameter), which features an accuracy enhancing recessed field crown. Rounding out the ultra lightweight is a specially designed, hand laminated, raised comb, Monte Carlo composite stock (a combination of Aramid, graphite unidirectional fibers and fiberglass), precisely inletted to accept a molded in, CNC machined aluminum bedding plate that stiffens the receiver area of the rifle when the barreled action is secured to the block. A pachmayr decelerator recoil pad dissipates recoil. Flat shooting. Hard hitting. Ultra lightweight.
