Remington New Model Serial No. 88596, late 1860's, .44 caliber, 8"" octagonal barrel. Metal is mostly a plum patina with scattered surface oxidation visible. Barrel address is visible, Serial number is present under the barrel. Grips show heavy wear and usage. Action is loose, doesn't index properly. 

Unknown Double barrel percussion shotgun, NSN, 12ga, 32"" round barrels. Barrels are a dark patina with heavy oxidation visible by the breech, left side nipple is missing. Buckskin repairs are noted forward of the trigger guard. expected usage and handling wear is visible. This shotgun may be Ute used.

  • This lot comes with a hunting knife, powder pouch,5 lead balls and a letter written by an enlisted soldier from Fort Crawford, Colorado dated 1889, who supposedly owned these items.
