Beautiful Custom Walnut Stock with Steel Grip Cap and Rosewood Forend Tip.
Custom Bottom Metal (in the white).
Pre-64 Model 70 Action, Mfg. 1948 (in the white).
Leupold Vari-X II 2x7 with Fine Reticle, mounted in Redfield Rings and Bases, (bases are in the white).
Metal is in excellent condition with minor, scratches and handling marks. The unfinished bottom metal and action have some areas of darkening or light corrosion, the barrel does not have this, which is why I think it may be stainless.
Wood is in excellent condition with minor handling marks.
Bore is excellent.
Scope is in very good to excellent condition, with scuffs and ring marks. The power ring and turret caps have turned plum colored.
