Scarce SIG SAUER P226, 9mmP, made in Germany, in 2001, for use by the Swiss Neuchatel City Police. Nitron finished with early design night sights. Left side of slide marked with manufacturer and model. Large Eagle Neuchatel logo on top of slide. Full serial number on right side of slide, frame, and left side of chamber. Exposed chamber marked with caliber and year code (AB=2001). Fitted with two piece hard ruber grips with textured surfaces, left panel marked P226, right panel marked SIG SAUER. Original SIG SAUER marked magazine, right side with three indicator holes marked 5, 10, 15. Made by Mec-Gar in Italy unmarked floorplate. Synopsis: SIG SAUER P226, German, Swiss Police, #U647289, I-1265 Condition: Approximately 95-97% with sharp edge and holster wear, scattered nicks on frontstrap, as one might expect from a pistol that has seen light/moderate service use. Mirror bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
