Scarce SIG SAUER P226, 9mmP, made in Germany, in 2001, for use by the Swiss Neuchatel City Police. Nitron finished with early design night sights. Left side of slide marked with manufacturer and model. Large Eagle Neuchatel logo on top of slide. Full serial number on right side of slide, frame, and left side of chamber. Exposed chamber marked with caliber and year code (AC=2002). Fitted with two piece hard ruber grips with textured surfaces, left panel marked P226, right panel marked SIG SAUER. Original SIG SAUER magazine, manufacturer marked on left side, zippered spine with three indicator holes marked 5, 10, 15. Unmarked floorplate. Synopsis: SIG SAUER P226, German, Swiss Police, #U652943, I-1266 Condition: Approximately 98% with sharp edge and holster wear, rare nick on front strap, as one might expect from a pistol that has seen light service use. Mirror bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
