Description:
This 1869 Swiss Vetterli is in all original numbers matching condition and is mechanically sound. I have 6 original rounds that goes with the rifle. I am listing this rifle for a elderly black lady that inherited it from her father, she's 89 and she said her father had this rifle hanging over the fireplace since she was a little girl. I am not sure when the last time it was fired but I believe with a little elbow grease it could be in shooting condition. This rifle has very few handling marks and all of the inspection marks on the stock are still very crisp, I don't believe this rifle ever saw to much use. The bore is dark but the rifling is still sharp and should clean up nicely. I have it listed at a very reasonable price.
