ENGRAVED, MOTHER OF PEARL SMITH & WESSON No. 1-1/2 .32 Revolver S&W Antique
c1870s Ornate Pocket Sidearm
Here we present an antique Smith & Wesson Model Number 1-1/2 .32 Rimfire 2nd Issue Revolver, made circa 1868-1875 in Springfield, Massachusetts. This one was engraved at the factory, silver plated, and had at least some gold plating on it as well. Mother of pearl grips round out this little gem.
The overall condition is good. Much of the original silver finish remains with a bit of good still around the recoil shield. The action (hammer/trigger) work well though the cylinder does not presently lock up. The grips show age and use and remain solid.
