Description:
This highly reliable DA/SA semi-automatic pistol is a SIG Sauer P225 chambered in 9 mm Luger. It has a fixed blade white dot dovetailed front sight, a square notch white marker dovetailed rear sight, a squared off trigger guard, a grooved fore strap, black hard composite two-piece grip panels, a thumb side decocker lever, a standard magazine release button, and a bobbed serrated hammer. The slide on the P225 is stamped steel. The bluing is in very good condition overall, with some light handling marks at the muzzle and on the left side of the slide. The grip panels are in very good condition with no chips or cracks nor any observable handling wear apparent. The SIG Sauer P225 was actually designed as a reduced-size version of the .45 ACP P220 except chambered in 9 mm. Its claim to fame, though, was its adoption by the West German police as the P6. That was a strong endorsement which solidified the reputation of the handgun in the minds of American shooters. This would make an excellent concealed carry piece.
