Description:
Smith and Wesson Model Number One, 2nd Issue Revolver in .22 Short. 7 shot cylinder.  Excellent Condition Overall with 98% original silver plating on frame, 92% Barrel Blue, and 70% thinning Cylinder Blue.  Rosewood Grips retain 99% original varnish.  Nice screws.  Serial number is in the 45,000 range and was manufactured in the first half of 1864 during the Civil War.  These were very popular with soldiers who privately purchased them as their personal carry weapons.  See Photos.  This one was well looked after and even has a nice bore.  Antique, Pre-1898 under Federal Law. Buyer must be 21 years old.  This cannot be shipped to NY, NJ, DC, Chicago, or Hawaii.  Sorry, no international sales.  $20.00 shipping in lower 48.
