Description:
For sale from my Dad and I's personal collection is a stunning Belgian Browning Superposed Midas Grade 12 gauge! This shotgun features 30 inch barrels that are choked Full (*) over Mod (**). I believe this is an upgrade done by Angelo but it is a complete match to the factory specs for a Midas grade, wood quality, finish, and checkering pattern, gold firing and locking pins, hand filed cross hatch vent rib with dual ivory beads, as well as factory white lined recoil pad for a 12ga target configured gun in the post-salt era.
The wood on this shotgun is an extremely attractive golden feathered walnut with dark swirling grain that continues through both the stock and the forearm. The checkering is hand cut and extremely sharp! The engraving is also nothing short of exceptional, the gold inlaid game birds nearly pop off the receiver and the detailed scrollwork throughout the entire gun definitely warrant the term "Midas" grade.
The condition is extremely nice, handling evidence and looks to have been used very little! Comes with re-numbered period box, original manuals, and a new Browning hard case with keys!
