***SOLD*** This is a quite rare, very early Model 12 20 ga Solid Rib Skeet/Deluxe grade S/N 35934 made in 1914! As you might expect, there is some notable wear to the bluing, along with some areas of patina, although the wood is remarkably good, beautifully colored and grained with original finish.
The barrel is 25" (the only length available in 1914) and is choked CYL (one of 3 chokes available in 1914 which included Modified and Full). The chambers of these first guns were 2 1/2". Virtually all in use have been opened slightly to take standard 2 3/4" shells including this one which I have confirmed by dropping a 2 3/4" shell into the chamber. I have not fired it.
The bore is fine and all mechanical functions seem to be operating smoothly and properly.
Should make for a wonderful fast pointing and easy swinging upland bird gun that you won't have to sweat over adding a few inevitible field marks.
