Description:
This Used Winchester Model 70 HV is a Heavy Varmint model of the renowned model 70 standard rifles. From the late 1990s to 2005 Winchester sold a heavy barrel varmint/target rifle called the "Heavy Varmint." These guns were designed with the post '64 push feed action coupled with a heavy barrel and the HS Precision made marksman stock. The gun itself was a modern version of the old "bull gun" Model 70s from past decades. It has the same contour 26-inch heavy barrel and stock style as the originals. The exceptions being pre-drilled holes in the receiver and not in the barrel for mounting match iron sights. .223 Remington
