Description:
This is a full and sealed! five round packet of “Calibre, .50" (.50-70) “Martin bar-primed" (the first centre fire cartridge used by the US military) ammunition manufactured by the Frankford Arsenal dated 1867. The one piece wrapped packet has the pull cord at the top and remains in excellent condition with crisp black type and scrollwork with only very faint age soiling and some tiny wrinkling from paper shrinking over time. A beautiful packet the will display well with your 1866 Springfield Rifle.
