Description:
Serial #6105, .22 S-L-LR, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome, 1937-made rifle that has a factory refinish on the receiver, an October, 1951 date code, and "3" stamp (indicating that the rifle was sent back to the factory) on the barrel. The metal retains 98-99% of the reapplied blue on the receiver, with a commensurate amount of original blue on the barrel and magazine tube. The grooved walnut forend and pistol-grip buttstock are in very good-fine shape, with some minor handling marks and small blemishes scattered about the original varnish finish. This is a fine example of a desirable Remington rimfire rifle, restored by Remington, and would make a nice addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
