Description:
Ambercrombie & Fitch imported these Anson & Deeley style boxlocks in the 1960's and possibly the 50's also. These shotguns were manufactured in Italy by Guido Rizzini, his brothers, and another gunmaker by the name of Rinaldo Zoli. They are simple solid doubles built on one of the finest SXS actions ever made. One of the most versatile 12 guages ever, it's the perfect weight for hunting, and has nice modern dimensions. Gauged with 2 3/4" chambers, with ejectors, it is fitted with IC and M chokes. This example is excellent condition The barrels, boxlock' and other metal finishes show ample blueing with scalloped engraving on them. The bore condition is bright with no evidence of pitting. All serial numbers match. The stock and forend show some wear on the checkering and a few minor usage dents in the wood. The rubber butt plate is in extremely fine condition and has an emblem of "Diana the Huntress" nicely embossed in the center of it.
