"Built in 1906 on a #2 frame. Acme steel bbls with a single silver sighting bead. The receiver is engraved in a typical C pattern and foliate arabesque scroll. Stocked with streaky walnut with leather-faced pad. The Parker Serialization Book indentifies this gun as a grade 4 with Acme steel barrels. This Parker is in very good condition. The barrels retain 80-85% original blue with slight muzzle wear, normal nicks and dings, and some thinning at the breach area where the gun was carried. The receiver and forend metal are an even, \"silver\" color, with just a faint trace of case color in the protected areas. The trigger guard is also mostly a \"silver-gray\", with small traces of blue through the bow. The wood is sound with the usual light nicks and scratches, and shows a lovely hand-worn patina. The forend has a series of minor scuffs on the forward left portion. The mechanics are crisp. The right bore is bright. The left bore is shiny, but shows two dents at about the mid-way point. All serial numbers are matching.
