Description:
For consideration is an outstanding and lightweight Kimber Model 84L bolt action hunting rifle in .30-06 caliber. The Kimber 84L has a Mauser-style front locking bolt with claw extractor with a 3-position Model 70 style safety. The bolt is short throw making scope mounting easier. This rifle has a short and nimble 20" barrel with a good bore and strong rifling. The select walnut stock has finely cut checkering, sling studs and an attractive contrasting ebony forend. The Pachmayr Decelerator butt pad helps to reduce felt recoil. The rifle has a few handling marks and an extremely small hairline crack on the right side of the forend. A set of 1" Talley base/ring combo scope mounts is included. The rifle has a hinged floorplate to facilitate unloading cartridges. This ultra light hunting rifle would be easy to carry on an all day hunt and a fine gun in the field.
