Description:
L.C.Smith 16 gauge field grade built in 1948. This gun is in remarkable original condition to be 75 years old. It retains 70% of the original case colors, 98% of the original barrel blue,and 98% of the original wood finish. The barrels are 28" Armor Steel choked modified (.022") and full (.034"). The barrels have the high solid rib typical of the later guns. The bores are mint and bright. The barrels are on face and lock up tightly to the action. The stock is sound with no cracks. This is a great example of the Smith gun. Very high condition,but not too high to shoot and enjoy. Would make a great pheasant gun. C&r eliglble. Price includes shipping to your FFL.
