This is a reproduction Model 1740 Potsdam Musket. Thousands of these muskets were captured by George Washington's Army at Trenton. It would be the Correct weapon for a Revolutionary War Reenactor. Or a Prussian soldier from 1740 to 1815 at Waterloo. Our Potsdam 1740 musket is a faithful copy of the original. It has a case hardened Frizzen and strong springs, that throw plenty of sparks to reduce misfires. The 41-inch round barrel is 75 Cal. This is a reasonably priced high-quality gun for use by reenactors. It will absorb the punishment of reenacting being dropped and hit in hand-to-hand skirmishes, Without the cost of higher-priced repros. made for shooting.
