Marlin Model 39D .22 caliber rifle. Manufactured in 1971. .22 S/L/LR. 1st year production and 1st variation. Marlin only made 15,657 of the D model from 1971 to 1972. 20" round barrel and full magazine tube. Barrel and magazine tube retain over 95% of their original blue. I will rate the bore a 9 on a scale from 1 to 10. Receiver retains 97% of it's original blue. Action functions nicely. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition showing a couple of handle marks (see pics). Correct sights and buttplate. Here is a chance to own a rare model and variation. This model doesn't come up for sale often so don't hesitate. Please feel free to ask questions.
