Description:
Very nice J. P. Sauer Mfgd 1939 in 16 Gauge O/U. The stock is for a right handed shooter with a dominant left eye or unable to use his right eye and offset is about 2 ½”. The chambers are marked for 2 ¾” and chamber gauge shows same. The 27 ½” or 70 CM barrels are choked .027 Full & .022 Imp Mod. and has very strong bluing with very little wear. The stock is very nice with a few scratches and dings and the checkering shows very little wear, the offset stock could be replaced but the wood is very nicely grained. The Sauer has double Kersten locks, extractors, double trigger and the action was never case colored and is gun metal silver. The overall condition is very good and this model and being prewar would command more than I am asking. Price $875.00 plus $65.00 S&I USPS priority mail.
