This is a Pre-owned, Excellent condition S&W Model 57-6 - 6" barrel chambered in .41 Magnum - No box.
Smith & Wesson Model 57-6 Classic Series 41 Magnum Revolver. This single-action/double-action (SA/DA) gun debuted in 1964 and continues to be a popular option with handgun hunters.
The frame, barrel and fluted cylinder are all high strength carbon steel with a nice, high polish blued finish. The walnut grip is elegantly curved in front with an even greater curved palmswell in back. The trigger guard is ovoid and followed by a very deep undercut while the diamond checkered wooden grip contrasts nicely against the blued steel frame. Other features include a classic style thumbpiece, a color case hardened hammer and a color case hardened trigger! The hammer spur is diagonally grooved with light serrations.
