I have an 1860 VG Spencer Rifle Civil War ERA in 50 caliber.This rifle came from a collector in Texas who was is possession of it for over 50 years. This is one of the cleanest I have seen. It has a great patina finish with some color case hardening visible. The wood appears to have had a finish put on it but it still fits tight against all of the metal and obviously checkering done a long time ago. The rear feeding tube is in excellent condition and works properly. The action is sharp and crisp with a very decent bore. 7 +/- All of the screw heads are clean with only 2 showing some use (saddle ring). The front flip up sight functions properly and most of the address is visible and a super strong serial number. This wont disappoint! Trades Welcome
