SOLD- I have been a collector of Anschutz rifles for many years. Seldom, does a person come across a Model 164 in this condition. The rifle is chambered in 22 long rifle caliber. This Anschutz rimfire was made in 1973, so a mere 50 year old time capsule. The fiddleback exhibited in the stock is easily among some of the nicest I have seen. Right hand palm swell and checkered European walnut stock..The metal work is all in near pristine condition and deeply blued without any notable discrepancies. Flip up rear sight and front sight hood are both present and in excellent condition. The rifle has had extremely limited use as evidenced by it's condition. The paint on the magazine doesn't even show any signs of use. Again, one of the nicest I have seen. I'll call it overall 98%. They do not make them like this anymore and this example is as close to new as one could hope to find.
