The serial number puts this rifle manufactured in 1899, this saddle ring style Winchester model 94 has been around for a long time. This rifle is chambered in .25-35 W.C.F, which in a shorter barrel, shines as it was meant too. Primarily a deer cartridge, it was introduced in 1895, and is best for ranges of around 100 yards. This rifle unfortunately does not have its saddle ring anymore and has some type of residue deep into the wood stock. .25-35 WCF
