This is a nice rifle with clean metal and wood. Trace colors on receiver and barrel has nice patina. Correct octagon receiver for this early rifle. Very nice rifle and had many compliments on this one. Bore is good+ and I would not be afraid to shoot this one either. Nice feel to it.
If you request a new Cody letter, Id send a photo of the caliber markings to show nothing was scratched off.
