Bought this from my antique friend who acquired it from the Rochester, New York historical society, super rare no-brainer, very few ships in the U.S. Navy fleet in 1812 something like less than a dozen. Almost 3 feet long, is solid handle with age cracks nothing loose in a 7 x 12" yeoman cleaver blade. This is more than just an awesome conversation piece.
