Description:
Marlin Model 39A early 3rd variation. No gold trigger. Manufactured in 1954. .22 S/ L/LR. 24" round barrel and full magazine tube retain 90% plus of their original blue. There are some tiny nicks and scratches. Receiver retains 95% of it's original blue as well. I will rate the bore an 8.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. Action functions nicely and all markings are nice and sharp. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition. Buttstock shows dings that have had what looks to be color added to them (see pics). Original buttplate still present. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it. Please feel free to ask questions.
