This listing is for an early production U.S. PT. F.A. (United States Patent Fire Arms Mfg. Co.) .45 Colt SAA revolver. The U.S. PT. F. A MFG. Co. was the predecessor to the USFA (United States Firearms Mfg. Co.) Mfg. Co. In 1997 the company was renamed to USFA and their Single Actions were totaly produced at their factory in Hartford, CT.
This GORGEOUS Colt is NIB and was part of a limited production made for the Dallas Arms Collectors Association Inc. (DACA), in Texas, celebrating the 140th Anniversary of Colt's Old Armoury 1855-1995. This Colt features a Old Armoury Bone Case & Dome Blued finish, 4.75" barrel, smooth solid walnut grips, special DACA roll mark and was manufactured in 1995. Stamped "U.S. PT. F.A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD, CT U.S.A." on top of the barrel and "PAT. SEPT. 19,1871, JULY 2, 1872" on the left side of the receiver. S/N. DACA231
Comes as shown in the factory original U.S .PT. F.A. black 2-piece cardboard box which w/ label on inside top lid . Also included is the original wax paper manual/booklet and warranty card.
