I'm selling my collection. An Antique Rare Colt House Model working Single Action Folding spur Trigger 5 shot Revolver, produced 1871-76, small quantity 2,150, it qualifies as an Antique pre-Dec 31.1898, no need of FFL for transfer, 5 shot straight non-fluted cylinder with good timing with 5 clean chambers. 2.5/8" round barrel with a good bore with good rifling. The finish on the brass frame is gone it was I believe either silver or nickel plated, the original blue finish on the barrel, cylinder & trigger rates 45-50%. The cylinder pin which was supposed to stick under the barrel is chopped off. Original rose wood grips the left one was partially checkered, the right one has an engraved star. Serial number "8931" on the cylinder and under the barrel. Two lines markings on the top of the barrel "COLT'S HOUSE PISTOL HARTFORD CT.USA ". A distinctive marking is in the topsrap groove: "PAT.SEPT.19.1871.". As you may guess I haven't shot it, the single action and the cylinder timing function very well. It was well kept and preserved. Very collectible & good example these scarce Colt revolvers were part of the American history.
