"Circa 1813-1814, manufactured at the Nathan Starr factory and delivered to all U.S. Dragoons by 1814. Curved blade is 32"" in length with a 25"" fuller. Blade is bright with discoloration visible along the blade. Ricasso is marked ""US/P/LS/N.STARR"". Hand guard and back strap show surface pitting. Grips are worn, these swords never had wire wraps. Original scabbard is heavily oxidized, throat and one ring are missing. Only 10,000 made.
