Circa 1813-1814, manufactured at the Nathan Starr factory and delivered to all U.S. Dragoons by 1814. Curved blade is 32"" in length with a 25"" fuller. Blade has scattered smooth surface oxidation and discoloration. Ricasso is marked ""US/P/LS/N.STARR"".Guard and back strap are a grey patina, leather grip is good with wear noted. Original scabbard is missing the throat and is noted with surface oxidation. 10,000 were manufactured.
