"Circa 1813-1814, manufactured at the Nathan Starr factory and delivered to all U.S. Dragoons by 1814. Curved blade is 32"" in length with a 26.5"" fuller. Blade is a dark grey patina with scattered surface oxidation visible. Wooden grip is dry and leather is long gone. Ricasso is marked ""US/P/LS/N.STARR"" Scabbard is a brown patina with surface oxidation noted.
