Description:
A factory letter accompanies this awesome Pre Model 27 confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on November 23, 1954 to Evaluators Limited in Quantico, Virginia. Equipped with an 8 3/8” barrel, original bright blue finish and checkered walnut diamond magna grips, the gun comes in the original numbers matching gold picture box with the Helpful Hints brochure and tissue wrap. A wonderful example overall that is virtually mint from end to end. The gun retains 99% of the original bright blue finish showing only the faintest handling evidence. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. All pre model marked S&W’s have been great investments, especially N-frames in top shelf condition, such as this gorgeous .357 Magnum!
