Description:
Built for Smith & Wesson Treasurer Frank W. Symonds retirement in 1975 this fabulous .22/32 Kit Gun is the only known fixed sight Pre Model 34 built after WWII! The gun is equipped with a 2” barrel, factory bright blue finish, smooth rosewood presentation magna grips and Class A factory engraving. Under the left grip is the engraver's signature “TWF” for Thomas W. Freyburger as well as the service department marking where the gun was finished after being engraving in March of 1975. Note the sideplate is inscribed to Frank W. Symonds, who had recently retired from Smith & Wesson, and the gun is assembled much like any zero numbered ‘Club Guns’. The gun remains in fabulous AS-NEW condition featuring Freyburgers very deeply cut, tight and flowing floral scrollwork. An extraordinarily rare & top shelf Tom Freyburger factory engraved small-frame that will hold a special place in any collection!
