We ae pleased” to offer one of the scarcer W.W. II P 38 pistols. It is a Mauser manufactured P 38 that used slides marked AC over 43” made by FN in Belgium. The frame, barrel AND slide are proofed E/WaA135 (Mauser’s waffen mark). Still’s Axis Pistols book explains some P.38 slides were made by FN in Belgium and shipped to Mauser and Spreewerke to be assembled into complete pistols. It is believed around 4,000 P.38’s were produced using these slides. This is one of the “Dual Tone” examples having a phosphate finish on the frame and slide with a blued barrel. Condition is 95% plus with some signs of handling. Locks up tight and functions as it should. Bore has some lite pitting just behind the muzzle. Un-marked black grips are excellent and could be replacements. Magazine has E/88 (Spreewerke) mark.
