Description:
No. 1 3d Model .22 short tip-up.  Early 4-digit gun, ca. 1870.  Standard 3 3/16" barrel.  Lovingly restored and engraved by somebody, but I don't know who.  Engraving is accurate factory style (NOT actual factory) scroll and dimple.  Old ivory grips.  Excellent bore.  Timing and action tight as new.  One mystery with this gun: on one cylinder wall there is a small gold disc with what appears to be an all-seeing eye engraved.  I've tried to capture it in a photo, but it's size makes that difficult.  The eye looks like the one on the back of a $1 bill.  Masonic?  Even if you aren't interested in buying this beautiful little antique, if you can shed any light on the eye, I would be grateful.  Shipping is $15.00.  Thanks for using Gunsinternational
