Up for sale we have an original French MAS Model 1944 in 7.5x54 MM French. This is a Semi Automatic Rifle with a 22" Parkerized Barrel and Adjustable Military Sights. With less than 6200 rifles made, these are the rarest of the rare for the French Military Collector. Mint bore and crown. Missing the knob for the charging handle, as in the small plastic piece that hangs off of the end of the charging handle however this is the only missing piece and the gun still functions without it. Seems to be a very sophisticated rifle for its age. Smooth Wood Pistol Grip Stock with the original buttplate. Smooth Wood Forearm and Handguard. Comes with 1x Detachable Magazine and a Leather Shoulder Strap. Very Good Action and Bore. The Serial Number is F 1561 so likely made in mid 1944 when the factory had been liberated by the allies. Small import mark at the front of the barrel. Very Interesting and Rare Rifle! This would be a Great Addition to any Collection!! Shipping is 60.00 for UPS with tracking.
