Manufactured in Italy by F.LLI Pietta, EMF's 1873 Great Western II "Californian" is a single action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. It features a hammer forged 4.75-inch steel barrel and frame that are drop-forged from steel and then CNC machined. Additionally, it has a distressed "antique" finish, and includes a larger front sight and wider rear sight for faster acquisition. Just like the original Colts, these "period correct" revolvers have a floating firing pin in the hammer and case-hardened frames. This combination of traditional aesthetics with the best modern technology makes the Great Western II the most sought after, durable and reliable single action revolver on the market. .357 Magnum
